Hervé Chneiweiss has written a book called “The Man Repaired” in 2012 that talks about genome modification in which he talks a lot about the idea of performance (becoming more beautiful, stronger, more intelligent etc). Finally, to want to heal everything, to suffer nothing more, isn’t it a transposition of contemporary economic credos on human life? Rousseau said that there is no human greatness that is not worked by imbecility, so to want to suppress isn’t it on the contrary to enthronise it?
