The articles from Wired (https://www.wired.com/2016/11/filter-bubble-destroying-democracy/) and The Guardian (https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2017/may/22/social-media-election-facebook-filter-bubbles) are criticizing the role of social media algorithms in politics. They may be a threat to democracy. But can they also be an opportunity? In fact, we only hear about inconvenients in the use of algorithms in social media during elections for example (Internet Filter Bubble, fake news, favouritism…). However, it is obvious that algorithms could help our societies and our democracies.

For example, the French website Voxe.org designed a bot that will allow you to discuss about news. Moreover, some bots were built during French elections in order to chat with « candidates » and to find the closest to your opinions. Then, what more can be done in order to boost our democracies with algorithms ?
