Climate change deniers allege that climate scientists are hiding the limitations of their research and the amount of uncertainty that still surrounds the causes and dynamics of global warming. The fact that there are some uncertainties but only specialists know what they are exactly and what incidence they have on the plausibility of human causes vs. any alternative cause is allowing those deniers to misrepresent them in front of the general public. Do global open data platforms with the appropriate level of vulgarized explanations lift the veil of ignorance or would you say in the contrary that presenting the public with the detail of current scientific uncertainties reinforces doubts and false relativisation?
